Gasoline

Gasoline is a fuel made from crude oil and other petroleum liquids. Gasoline is mainly used in vehicle engines. It can be used to power cars, sport utility vehicles, light trucks, recreational vehicles, small aircraft, power generating sets, equipment and tools.

Diesel

Diesel fuel is combustible liquid used as fuel for diesel engines, obtained from fractions of crude oil that are less volatile than the fractions used in gasoline. In diesel engines the fuel is ignited not by a spark, as in gasoline engines, but by the heat of air compressed in the cylinder, with the fuel injected in a spray into the hot compressed air.

Aviation fuel

Aviation fuels are petroleum-based fuels, or petroleum and synthetic fuel blends, used to power aircraft. They aid in aircraft propulsion. A basic distinction is made between four different aviation fuels:

  • Jet fuel (Jet A-1, kerosene)
  • Kerosene-gasoline mixture (Jet B)
  • Aviation gasoline (avgas)
  • Biokerosene

Plastic products

Polypropylene is a thermoplastic polymer used in a wide variety of applications. It has a slippery, tactile surface, making it ideal for plastic furniture low friction applications, such as gears in machinery and vehicles. In its fibre form, polypropylene uses are for a much wider range of other products, including ropes, twine, tape, carpets, upholstery, clothing and camping equipment. Its waterproof properties make it especially effective for the marine sector.
